What is WalkPet?
WalkPet is an Android app combining a step counter with a virtual pet game. You care for a pet in the game – it is not a real-world dog-walking service.
How are steps counted?
With your permission, WalkPet uses Health Connect or your device’s step sensor. GPS is not required. Availability and updates depend on your device, permissions and connected step source.
Do I need an account or internet?
The local base game has no mandatory account. An optional online account enables social features such as groups and competitions. Purchases, restoration and online features need internet.
What does WalkPet cost?
The base game is free and has no ads. Additional companions, surprise eggs and garden content may be offered as optional one-time purchases. Available offers and binding prices appear in the purchase dialog. Random eggs do not guarantee a particular species.
Is my entire game saved online?
No. Your local save is not a full cloud save. Google Play restoration covers supported purchases; it does not replace a backup of all pet progress and inventory.
What happens when I delete my online account?
Account deletion concerns your optional online account and its social data. It does not automatically delete your local game or Google Play purchases. Find the details and the independent deletion page below.
